Life-Saving Surgery Insurance
Life-saving surgery cover is an extension you can add to your mortality policy.
It is a great option if you would like the extra comfort of knowing that in the event your horse requires critical surgery then some of that financial burden is taken away. It is available for horses 7 months to 14 years of age.
There are two cover options – $5,000 and $10,000, which, in the event of a claim, can go towards the surgery and vet bills associated with the life-saving surgery. This extension does have an excess payable in the event of a claim.
